Krishnagar Collegiate School is one of the oldest schools in West Bengal . ==History== The school building was donated by Monomohun Ghosh a famous barrister and good friend of Dr. K D Ghose, father of Sri Aurobindo. It consists of class 1 to 12. The first principal of the school was ''Captain David Lester Richardson''. At the beginning there were three more European and ten Indian teachers. Among those ten Indian teachers Ramtanu Lahiri and Madan Mohan Tarkalankar are very well known. Beni Madhab Das, teacher of Subhash Chandra Bose at Ravenshaw Collegiate School also taught here.
